Embroidered and beaded antique lace, renaissance inspired shell-like ruff, this dress both imposing and light is inspired by the japanese drowned princess “Taira no Tokiko”, whose imperial costume made of 12 layers of kimono are turning into silk hand dyed graduated chiffon flounces, floating around her as so many swaying fabric waves.
